Что такое Pay-as-you-go?

Pay-as-you-go – справедливая и удобная система учёта потребленных ресурсов, позволяющая пользователю сервисов Cloud4Y платить только за те ресурсы что используются виртуальными машинами в конкретный момент времени.

Почему Pay-as-you-go, а не Allocation Pool?

Всё просто, при Pay-as-you-go вы платите только за те ресурсы, что используются вашими виртуальными машинами. При Allocation Pool вы платите за определенное количество ресурсов, при чем не важно пользуетесь вы ими или нет, что, согласитесь, звучит странно.

Как перейти на систему расчётов Pay-as-you-go?

Pay-as-you-go доступна бесплатно всем без исключения клиентам Cloud4Y, у кого подписан с нами договор.

Как понять за что в данный момент начисляется оплата, а за что нет?

Учет (билинг) потребляемых ресурсов происходит каждый час. Билинг проверяет включены или выключены виртуальные машины, изменялись ли параметры виртуальных машин и фиксирует факт потребления. Виртуальные ядра (vCPU) и оперативная память (vRAM) имеют одну приятную особенность, если виртуальная машина будет выключена, то билинг по этим ресурсам будет нулевой, а значит будет начислено 0 рублей. Что касается дискового пространства, то билинг учитывается только за гигабайты, закрепленные за вашей виртуальной машиной(ами). Так как информация на дисках хранится постоянно, то статус виртуальной машины на стоимость не влияет, так же ситуация и с ip адресом и пространством для резервного копирования.
Так же бывают случаи, когда временно требуется увеличить мощности виртуального сервера, а потом снова уменьшить. Тогда билинг учтет, как повышение, так и снижение уровня потребления, что позволит вам с экономить ваши деньги.

Как узнать сколько ресурсов я потребил за месяц?

В начале каждого месяца вам будут отправляться закрывающие документы, в которых будет указан суммарный объём потребления по каждому отдельному ресурсу, а так же счёт на оплату услуг.

А что если я случайно увеличу параметры моего сервера до космических, это значит, что я получу соответствующий счёт?

Увеличение ресурсов происходит через панель управления облаком, в которой исключены случайные нажатия кнопок. Если у вас есть опасения что всё-таки такое может произойти, мы можем зафиксировать определенный максимум по добавлению ресурсов, который вы сможете увеличить только после обращения в техническую поддержку Cloud4Y.

Могу я выбрать иную систему расчётов, нежели Pay-as-you-go?

Да конечно, если по каким – либо причинам система Pay-as-you-go вам не подходит, вы можете связаться с вашим персональным менеджером для согласования иной системы оплаты, например, Allocation Pool или предоплата.

Have only just moved over to three because the sim only deals are so good but when you use the app, you feel like you’re with a telecoms company from the stone ages!

I have to enter THREE (no pun intended), separate pieces of information: phone number, email and password EVERY TIME I want to use the app!! Face ID?? A passcode perhaps?? How is it possible that a phone network provider which sells deals on the LATEST smartphones doesn’t have this technology to log in?! Very very frustrating and unexplainable. surely an easy fix?!

Had a message a couple of days ago to say app was being updated so got excited about being able to log in using the most up to date methods. but still no!! Come on Three, move with the times. You’re such a good provider, yet a simple thing like this makes you look amateur and totally unaware of the time’s we now live in! Please sort!!

Sorry to hear this! Please can you try and download the latest app version as we now have biometric log in enabled and you can use Face id.

100% worst Teleco app in the UK

Where to start? Well, firstly, it’s not actually an app, it’s a really poorly designed website wrapped in an imitation web browser.

Secondly, you cannot complete your “profile” unless you agree to ALL of Three’s marketing options. ? I’m stuck on 70% complete, apparently because I refuse to accept telemarketing calls! ?

I suppose I’m lucky I can actually login and use the “app” (judging by previous reviews, I’m in the minority here. ), but as others have said how are you not utterly, utterly embarrassed and ashamed by this app Three UK? It’s atrocious!

Suggest your technology teams view the apps from the following for a hint of what a proper app should look like: O2, EE, Vodafone, BT, Sky Mobile, giffgaff, Virgin Media, Tesco Mobile, Plusnet Mobile. need I go on?

Happy to revisit my review if you bother to make a proper app, but until then. ???

So the developed said it was a “bit harsh” to criticise this atrocious app and then suggested live chat. Seriously? Would live chat be able to redesign the app and make it work. Just beyond belief that Three UK think that’s an appropriate response at all!! ???‍♂️

Pay As You Go V Pay Monthly

A mobile phone is one of the necessities of life these days; it’s very hard to function without one. All our social arrangements depend on a phone, as does staying in touch via email and social media. However, choosing which package to go for can be a little daunting. The biggest choice is between a pay monthly contract and a pay as you go arrangement.

Pay as you go works on a very simple basis: you pay only for the calls and texts that you make. This system relies on you already having a phone, or buying one separately, as no phone is included in your deal. This works well if you don’t make that many calls or texts, or people are planning to call you rather than the other way round. It’s good if you aren’t going to be in one place for a long time, so if you are travelling for example, or can’t provide the credit background necessary for a pay monthly contract. There is no credit check and no notice period as you aren’t in a contract.

Pay-As-You-Go service is not available for new customers or plan customers even after plans expire and are not recharged.

Pay monthly gives you a number of inclusive call minutes and texts in your package (the exact allowance will depend on what package you take out), and generally a phone is included, although there may also be an additional one off payment if you choose a more expensive model. Pay monthly is good if you know you are going to be in the same place for the foreseeable future: you may well find that the overall package works out cheaper than pay as you go but you are tied into a contract for a period of time – generally 18 months to two years.

I find that the app is really helpful, to a point. As I’m pay as you go, they don’t give you a detailed inventory.
I’ve been using it for a long time, as I don’t use my mobile that much I hadn’t noticed anything different in the amount available. Now that I need my mobile, due to family issues, I’m using my mobile a lot more, so I’ve been keeping a log of calls and what I’ve got left. I have just topped up via the app to find that it cost me a £1 for the privilege! Where is that info on here and why? Surely it’s cheaper doing it this way than going through the phone or getting a voucher. I know it’s not much, but with everything going on at home, every penny counts! Good job I’m going to get triple money, but I’ve got to wait until my anniversary date.
Please be more open on what you have to pay to use this app! Now I’m going to have to keep an eye on the cost of anything I do on here. It’s going to be back to calling again, which takes several minutes to go through! I’m struggling to see the benefits now.

Failure (but recovered)

Changed from Vodafone as fed up with messing around. Tesco is just as bad. After two attempts trying to get my old number back was promised completion by six pm today. Nothing, eventually got through on chat line was told to turn my phone off and on again. Did that so lost contact with chat line and spent the next hour unsuccessfully trying to get through. On top of that, downloaded app and was informed my number was not a payg number despite using new payg SIM card they sent me. Please take me back Vodafone.

All worked out in the end. Process not as simple as portrayed but got there eventually.

Restarting the phone and popping the SIM out/in will reconnect the services to the network after the number transfer has completed. This is usually done no later than 6pm on the day of the transfer. Once done, you will be unable to access the Tesco Mobile app or online My Account for 24 hours while the system updates to reflect the change in the mobile number.

No usage detail and credit disappears

Thanks for leaving a review on our app. We do not record pay as you go details and these can only be accessed by subject access. If mobile data is not turned off on the phone, the standard iPhone will connect to the internet even when this is not in use, this must be turned off by yourself directly on the phone to avoid this. If you opted for a standard tariff, any usage is charges; calls, text, data. If you have a Rocket Pack 30 days rolling we’ll take credit and replace this with a Rocket Pack, giving you calls, text, data but is not recommended for very low users.
